For this project I was tasked with taking 2 to 3 letters and creating a dynamic composition by activating the figure ground relationship. Above are the first 12 thumbnails.

The next step was to take 3 of my thumbnails and push them into a more activated composition.

This was my original final design for this project.

Then I explored color and texture using the final design. I wanted to focus on texture originally but the compositions tended to get to busy.

Moving onto the next round of color I tried to simplify the palette. I thought pink, yellow, and gold would compliment well. Instead the compositions became desaturated. I was getting stuck in this composition and decided for the final to switch to another I'd made during a different project.

During the Typographic Assignment I created this composition and felt it met the criteria for this project better and decided to make it the final for this project.
